Reading material 7/7/08

In between reading Harry Potter sometimes I read up some political stuff on the internet. Like this stuff:

Energy Myths from Investor's Business Daily. Please, please, please read this. They take the main 3 or 4 oil myths and explain why they're crap. It's quick and easily understandable. Also see Obama's Dry Hole from the Wall Street Journal and An America First Energy Plan from RealClearPolitics.com.

The true test of Obama's Iraq shift from the Politico.com. Has a couple quotes from Obama earlier this year talking about Iraq. On the same topic, also see Daily Blog Buzz: Obama's "Refined" Positions.

Obama Ignorance Watch: What Do the Joint Chiefs Really Do? from The Weekly Standard. I'll give you a hint: he doesn't know what they do.

Obama's Abortion Obfuscations from the Weekly Standard.

The Democrats' foreign-policy game from the Christian Science Monitor. A lot of the Senate Dem's ideas and recent rhetoric is stupid and dangerous.

OBAMA STRIKES FIRST from DickMorris.com. The general election season has begun with Obama starting his first national ad. McCain could jump all over this ad if he had half a brain, since it has at least 1 blatent lie in it, but he probably won't because he sucks almost as much as Obama.

New and Not Improved from the New York Times. Some crazy liberals are pretty pissed about Obama's center field pandering. This guy's one of them.

5 myths about presidential campaign cash from Politico.com. Very informative. Goes through a few myths that both sides have been playing up a lot lately.

Focus on Economy Poses Problems for Candidates from the New York Times. Again, they both suck, so it's not surprising.
